Abby Rike
There they are 16 contestants on the eighth season of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” show. The program is being produced in 25 countries and showed around the globe in 90 countries is a super hit. The theme of eighth season is “Second Chances”.
Perhaps the theme is most fitting for Abignail Rike (Abby Rike ), who has the most daring life story to tell. She lost almost everything in a 2006 car crash. Her 5-year-old daughter, infant son and husband – a fellow teacher were all killed in the crash. This would really be her second chance on life as she rediscovers herself.
Abby Rike 35 is a teacher by profession and weighs 247 lbs. Her aim is to fit into size 10 jeans. Abby having dared her path through such an ordeal is sure to reach her goal. It would be interesting to witness her journey. As for Abby, she says “For me, the weight loss is kind of secondary; it is more about feeling better and healing my body and spirit”.
