You might know Anna Demidova from “Dancing with the Stars 2009″ but here is a little history about her. She was born in Moscow, Russia; Anna Demidova was 6 years old when she started dancing at the local community center. Anna Demidova older sister Katusha is the world champion in dancing and she followed her older sister’s footsteps. Anna Demidova won the “Ireland Open Championship” and “British Open Junior Ballroom Championship” when she was just 15 years old, she moved to New York, U.S to stay with her sister and to pursue her career in dancing. Anna Demidova was very successful while dancing with her dancing partner Andrei Begunov, she became the “U.S. Youth Champion” in 2005 – 2006. She and her partner represented the United States at the “World Championship” and made it to the finals. In youth category they both have won “BYU Championship”, “Tri Sate Challenge”, “Kings Ball” and “Ohio Star Ball” as partners.

Anna Demidova started dancing with her new partner Igor Mikushov after her partnership broke off with Begunov. She has also won many more championship with Mikushov such as “Emerald Ball”, “San Francisco Open”, “Ohio Star Ball” and “Manhattan Dancesport Championship”. Anna Demidova and her partner Mikushov also made to the finals of “United Kingdom Open” and “Blackpool Under 21 Ballroom”.

Anna Demidova and her partner Mayo Alanen last night perform a Quickstep dance in yesterday’s episode of dancing with the Stars, the choreography done by Anna was fabulous, she was high in energy with loads of personality. Anna Demidova might win this round of “Dancing with the Stars” as Bruno loved her wonderful technique and her performance, Carrie Ann the other judge agreed with Bruno saying that any celebrity would be lucky to have her as partner. Len said that Anna carried out the best out of Mayo. Soon after Anna and Mayo performed Samba and the judges commented that she is a sensation said by Bruno and Carrie Ann said that she want to see her more of her.

If you ask me I like Anna Demidova and her partner Mayo Alanen and keeping my figures cross for the grand final.
