Billy Crystal, whose birth name is William Edward Crystal was born in Manhattan on 14th of March, 1948. He is a well-known writer, actor, film director, comedian, producer and baseball player of the United States. He became known to the world in 1970s by playing a role of Jodie Dallas in “Soap” which was an ABC Network’s sitcom.

Billy Crystal became a film star of the Hollywood film industry in the end of 1980s and start of 1990s when he appeared in “City Slickers” and “When Harry Met Sally” which got success on the box office. “Academy Awards” have also been hosted by him for eight times.
