Brian Roberts, CEO of Comcast, is hoping for a positive result from the regulatory process. Comcast has made the biggest deal of the corporate industry and the company’s CEO Brian L. Roberts believes that the regulatory processes won’t create any problem or ‘material effect’ on the company.

The deal between Comcast, General Electronics and NBC Universal has been finalized, said the Comcast company representative. The companies have agreed upon joint venture and according to the agreement the Comcast will have the control over NBCU. NBCU has a value of $30 billion and with this deal Comcast will become the largest entertainment company of the media industry. NBCU runs TV channels like MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, Oxygen, and USA Network, and Internet TV channels like Hulu. Comcast is the largest cable network company in USA with $24 million users in more than 30 states of America and Washington D.C. When Brian Roberts took over the seat of CEO of Comcast, he promised to expand the company’s horizon and to make it more than just a cable provider. Comcast owned the E! Entertainment Network and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie studios. In addition to these big shots of Entertainment world, Comcast also gained the ownership of Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers.
