SyFy has created a new kind of wonderland for Caterina Scorsone to explore. The new miniseries ‘Alice’ is adapted from Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. The series shows Caterina Scorsone as modern Alice. The role would be the first major role for the actress. The miniseries features many talented artists like Kathy Bates but the real focus is the character of Caterina. The new adaptation of one and a half century old classic has all the essence of the original story and yet the production team have put a lot of effort to make the classic relevant for the audience of today.

Caterina Scorsone 28, is Canadian by birth and started her career by appearing as a child star on the Canadian Show “Mr. Dressup”. Her character as Jess in “Missing” proved to be the breakthrough in her career. The Jess is shown to have Extra Sensory Perception, which she uses to locate the missing persons. FBI employs her for her ESP powers.

Caterina Scorsone has completed her studies in Canada as recently as 2005. Caterina has 5 siblings and got her training from Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts in Toronto.

Caterina has all that is needed to make her to the top tier. She has got looks and “Mona Lisa” smile.

2009 definitely is Caterina Scorsone’s lucky year, she would be appearing in Mel Gibson’s Edge of Darkness also. The film would be released in 2010.
