Chuck Wepner, whose nickname is “The Bayonne Bleeder”, is a former “Heavyweight Boxer” belongs to Bayonne, New Jersey. He was born on 26th of February, 1939; Chuck Wepner is a vague boxer who went fifteen rounds with world heavyweight champion “Muhammad Ali” in the fight of 1975. He has regularly been attributed as the inspiration for “Rocky Balboa”.

Chuck Wepner first came into appearance as a professional boxer in 1964 and then started posting lots of wins and a few losses. Before turning for boxing Chuck Wepner worked as a security guard but he had previously boxed as a member of the “United States Marine Corps”. He was a famous fighter in Northeast`s Club Boxing circuit and the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of New Jersey State.

A lot of boxing fans considered that his days as a candidate were numbered after losing fights to Sonny Liston (by knockout in ten) and George Foreman (by knockout in three). After the fight with Liston, Chuck Wepner required over one hundred and twenty sutures (internal organs) in his face. Chuck Wepner has also lost a battle to “Jose King Roman” by a decision in “Puerto Rico”. On the other hand, Chuck Wepner won 9 of his next 11 fights after losing to Joe Bugner by a knockout in three in England which include victories over “Charlie Polite” and also previous “WBA Heavyweight champion Ernie Terrell”. Chuck Wepner is alleged to have been the motivation for the character “Rocky Balboa” in the movie “Rocky”.
