The full name of Dana Carvey is “Dana Thomas Carvey” who is an actor and comedian of America. He was born in Missoula, Montana in 2nd of June, 1955 and is most famous for his work on “Saturday Night Live” and the spin-off film “Wayne`s World”. Dana Carvey is the son of Billie (a schoolteacher) and William Carvey (a high school business teacher). He has a brother named as “Brad Carvey” (an engineer/designer of the Video Toaster). The character of Garth Algar in the film “Wayne’s World” is a loosely-based depiction of Brad Carvey. The family of Dana Carvey was transferred to San Carlos, California in the San Francisco Bay, at that time he was just 3 years old. At an early age Dana Carvey got his 1st “Drum kit” and then attended “Tierra Linda Junior High” in San Carlos, California, “Carlmont High School” in Belmont, California, “College of San Mateo in San Mateo, CA” and got his degree of Bachelor in communication from “San Francisco State University”.

Dana Carvey met with Paula Zwaggerman during performing at the “Great American Music Hall” in San Francisco In 1979. In 1980, soon after returning to the Bay Area Dana Carvey and Paula Zwaggerman were engaged. Dana Carvey also made an appearance at the “2008 MTV Movie Awards”, reprising his SNL character “Garth Algar” with host “Mike Myers” for a world sketch of Wayne. Dana Carvey filmed a 2nd HBO stand-up special (the first in 13 years) entitled “Squatting Monkeys Tell No Lies” on 14th of June, 2008.
