		<description>&lt;p&gt;Is it not true that the &quot;delta&quot; smelt is in fact not even indigionous to this area, came from asia only about 37 years ago,  is in other states and is infact not endangered. It is a sad affair when the government that is supposed to protect our rights takes them away for an unendangered fish.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

		<description>I understand that this &quot;smelt&quot; is a feeder fish for larger fish, so why can&#039;t groups of males and females be gathered and placed in controlled environments and raised like they do on salmon farms or catfish farms? We put other endangered species on wildlife reserves, why not the smelt?</description>
