Dickinson Nd Tornado
Dickinson N.D Tornado—A tornado raced across North Dakota packed seventy mph (112 kmph) winds and funnel clouds on early Wednesday night. The tornado knocked out power to part of the city and torn the roofs in Dickinson, N.D. There are also several tornados which caused spoil nearby Williston, N.D and in other country areas. However, not any single injury has reported right away.
Governor of the province John Hoeven has place forty National Guard soldiers to Dickinson, where the work of cleaning is in progress because of the tornado that uprooted 70-foot trees, flipped vehicles, destroyed houses and also knocked out power in a few parts of the city. John Hoeven was also on his way to Dickinson on Thursday.
Some of the people say that there were two tornados produce by the storm. Meteorologist (a specialist who studies processes in the earth’s atmosphere that cause weather conditions) Patrick Ayd from National Weather Service in Bismarck said that a damage assessment team is being sent to the city to create an official determination for the damage.
To the north, a storage building of an oil field company in Southwest of Williston was demolished, either by strong winds or a tornado. There were also strong winds and touchdowns reported in many other areas as described by Weather Service. The reported damages include downed power lines in northern Burke County, grain bin damage nearby Glen Ullin in Morton County, a destroyed granary and a destroyed barn. The residents of Dickinson walked around in a shock as a few boarded up windows or sorted throughout wreckage in their yards after the storm.
