ABC network presentation “Eastwick” is the new series which was aired yesterday on 23rd Sep, 2009 at 9:00 P.M. After watching the premier it feels that this series is much inspired by the successful series “Desperate Housewives”, because it is a mix of vast possibilities, this series “Eastwick” has a very strong cast with a concept worth a second look, as well as with deep enough flaws that suggest that the spell of this series is not going to attract that much viewership as “Desperate Housewives”.

“Eastwick” that exhibiting the qualities and characteristics that identify a group “ABC” with an expensive and attractive cast is the kind of series, that has been driven from John Hoyer book “Updike” and the movie of the same name.

The 1980’s movie is about three frustrated, disappointingly unsuccessful women from a small town and their secrets and desires, if you ask me it does not feel cleaver, wicked or much interesting but there is something about this series that made me watch the premier.

Character of Roxy has been played by well-celebrated X-Men vileness “Rebecca Romijn”, she played the struggling single mom in the series, who still desires for the party-life, whereas Lindsay Price from “Beverly Hills 90210” is playing the role of Joanna, who is a emotional newspaper writer, who has the deep down burning desires for photographer Will.

General Hospital’s beautiful character Jaime Ray Newman played “Kat” in the series, which played a married nurse with five children and now realized that this is the life she never wanted. Other stars included Paul Gross, Veronica Cartwright and Sara Rue.

Eastwick Cast
