Francisco Cervelli rookie for Yankees proved himself, by taking his team to victory in the ninth innings. It feels like it is becoming habitual for Yankees, that if an opponent team does not won the game by ninth innings, the game does not belong to them. The latest theme in the new Yankees Stadium for opponent teams is that win the game by ninth innings or you are in deep trouble, because one way or another Yankees will come back and beat the opponent and on Wednesday it was not different than usual.
Blue Jays were trailed by Yankees up till the bottom of the eighth innings, although the pitcher for Blue Jays have done wonders for his team, but when it comes to Alex Rodriguez, Hideki Matsui and Francisco Cervelli there is no stopping back for Yankees. Rodriguez start off with a base hit against Scott Downs and then comes the champ Matsui, a real tough contender against left-hand pitching, he took a Downs breaking pitch and placed it into the seats of right side stands, the game was tied at that time with 4-4, and then an impelling force in the form of Brett Gardner, he placed a single into the centre field and the stadium was all charged up.

Blue Jays’ knew all that if they can stop Yankees before ninth innings they can win but, feels like it was too late for them, the next batter to come was Francisco Cervelli, he was placed in the team to replace defence, he prove to be gem for the teak, he placed the pitch from Frasor into the left field, Travis Snider took one look at home, but Gardner had crossed home plate and the Yankees came from behind again to win 5-4.
