Television actress and singer Gale Storm, whose unbeaten charms rocked the ’40s and ’50s TV viewers, and made her a leading TV star, died at the age of 87 in a Danville, California Hospital due to natural causes. Gale storm earned her fame from two 1905,s show’s “My little Margie” and “The Gala Strom Show”. Gale Storm was one of the admired actresses in the early days of television. She had firstly made “B” movies with not a great deal to brag about.

Gale Storm was casted in “My Little Margie” during “I Love Lucy’s” summer break, just to fill up the spot temporarily, but to network executives surprise; Gale’s character charmed the TV viewers of that time so much that it took three years to wound up “Margie.”

Gale Storm was then casted as Susanna Pomeroy in another sitcom named “The Gale Strom Show”. The show lasted for four seasons on the TV.

Gale Storm’s birth name was Josephine Owaissa Cottle. She won a talent computation in Texas “her native City” which showed her the way to Hollywood when she was just 17-years-old. Due to her powerful screen personality and lively face, studio executives gave her the name “Gale Strom”.

She was not only an actress but a talented singer too. She lastly appeared on TV was in 1989 series “Murder She Wrote”.
