Gia Carangi was born in 29th of January, 1960 at America; she was a model in American fashion industry. Gia carangi has honor to be the first Supermodel (Late 1970s to Early 1980s), even this honor is also given to other models like “Cindy Crawford, Dorianleigh and Janice Dickinson”. Gia Carangi has also seen on the cover page of fashion magazines like “Vogue in 1st April 1979; Vogue Paris in April, 1979; American Vogue in August 1980; Italian Vogue in January, 1981 and many other issues of “Cosmopolitan” during 1979-1982”. Later on, Gia Carangi was called as “Baby Gia” because of her similarity to “Carangi”. She presented unusual poses, gestures and facial expressions for the first time in fashion industry.

Later on, Gia Carangi became “Heroin”, although her modeling career decline rapidly. Gia Carangi was then infected by “HIV AIDS”, which was a new disease at that time. As her condition was serious, so Carangi was admitted to “Hahnemann University Hospital” in Philadelphia. Her mother looks after her at Hospital and she hardly allows anyone to meet Carangi. With the passage of time, AIDS levied in her body and Supermodel Carangi was not seen after such disease on the screen. At last, she could not get rid of such disease and died in the age of 26, right at 10:00 a.m in 18th of November, 1986.

On November 23rd, Gia Carangi’s Funeral was held in Philadelphia. People from fashion industry have not attended her funeral; even her old friends also have not taken part, which belong from Philadelphia. Gia Carangi has done her last photo shoot and she added in the memories of people.
