Gone but not Forgotten is very low budget adult romantic movie. The plot of the movie is weaved around homosexual love. The film is written, directed and produced by Michael D. Akers. Given such a short budget he has done an excellent job. The budget of the film wouldn’t let Akers use a professional movie camera, the film is shot by a digital camera.

Yosemite National Park was chosen as location for the film. The ranger of the park is a homosexual man named Drew. Drew saves the life of a young guy named Mark. As Mark opens his eyes in a hospital he sees a Doctor leaning over him and checking his vital signs. He asks for water and the Doctor is delighted that despite the injury he is able to speak. But the problem comes when the doctor asks his name and how he received the injuries. Mark is not at all able to recall his name or the circumstances under which he is brought to the hospital.

Mark’s amnesia is basic to the plot of the film. Drew takes the responsibility of taking care of Mark and obviously homosexuality comes in their relationship. Everything is going fine ….Until Mark has started getting flashbacks and begins receiving the tidbits of his prior life in his memory. The dilemma is whether he should adopt the persona of post accident Mark or previous personality. On the other hand Drew has his own memories of past activities.

With the budget, obviously there is a compromise on acting skills; however the film incorporates some the best and most intense homosexual scenes to be enjoyed.
