Hawthorne Plane Crash—A single-engine plane crashed at the Hawthorne Municipal Airport soon after takeoff this afternoon. According to the authorities, this crashed put all 3 people on board to death. The when Beechcraft 36 Bonanza reported mechanical problems on 4:20 p.m, it had just taken off. According to the Frank Garrido (an inspector of the Los Angeles County Fire Department), the Beechcraft 36 Bonanza crashed into a parking lot on the Southern edge of the airport (just north of Jack Northrup Avenue). He also explained that not any single person was injured outside and also the plane did not strike any buildings or vehicles. Immediately the name were not released who killed due to crash.
According to Allen Kenitzer (a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration in Seattle), Beechcraft 36 Bonanza was registered as “N618MW”. The plane was manufactured in 2005 and a flooring store in Lawndale (Carpet Pros Inc) owned it according to FAA records. First responders rapidly reached and awash the ruins in foam to maintain about twenty gallons of fuel from leaking into a near tempest drain.
The plane belonged to the owner of the company (Walter Franco) who was not in the plane at the time o f crash as described by a man answered the phone. The relationship between the Walter Franco and three persons in plane is unidentified. The dead bodies were still inside the plane according to Witnesses. But no one answered the phone at the store early on this evening.
