John Wetteland
John Wetteland, who is the coach of Mariners bullpen, was admitted to hospital and after the completion of the “trip” went back to home. His fans and friends were highly distressed on his illness and enquired about his health. John Wetteland told the media and others that high blood pressure and heart beat forced him to be admitted to hospital in Texas. He told that he is quite healthy at home now. The most interesting element of the “plot” of the story is that the whole episode involved the intervention of “police” as well.
Now a pertinent question arises what had police to do with his hospitalization. The general manager of Mariners told that they heaved a sigh of relief when they came to know the details from John and his wife. He told that initial reports comprised totally different story but he was actually hospitalized due to high rate of heart beat.
Denton county officials were of the view that John Wetteland was hospitalized due to some psychological problem. According to CBS, the Denton County officials received a call from Argyle area that someone is going to commit suicide there. When police rushed to the described house, a man came out of his residence with “hands up”. The man was actually John Wetteland who was saying, “I need your help”. Wetland has thanked all those who felt distressed and apprehensive about him. But he pointed towards “certain circumstances” which led to his high blood pressure and hospitalization.
