A death row inmate in Ohio, Kenneth Biros, was sentenced today with a new execution method. Kenneth Biros was a convicted murderer who was executed by injecting a lethal injection. This method of execution has never been used on a human.

According to the details, the new method of execution involved a high dose of anesthesia. The execution through large dose of anesthesia is considered less painful than the usual method used in most states. The old method, which is still prevalent in many states, uses three-dose cocktail. Many opponents of this new execution method argued about the legal status of the new method and claims that this method has not been formally legalized. They also claim that since the method has never been tested on humans before, so this incident can be classified as human experimentation. In spite of all these claims and arguments, the United States Supreme Court never intervened in the process and the execution was carried out as scheduled. Kenneth Biros was executed at 11:47 a.m. on December, 8.

With the execution of Kenneth Biros through a single-dose lethal injection, Ohio became the first state to implement this new method.

Kenneth Biros was convicted of raping, torturing, and then murdering Tami Engstrom. He killed the 22-years-old Tami near Warren, Ohio after offering her a drive from a bar. He cut her body in many parts and distributed them in different regions of the Ohio state.

Kenneth Biros’s execution was attended by his lawyer and two of his friends while Tami Engstrom’s mother, sister, and brother were also present.
