Kissel Brothers

Robert Kissel arrived in Hong Kong with his wife Nancy in 1997, he was working with Goldman Sachs as V.P, he was then hired by Merril Lynch group. The couple had three children together. The family visited U.S.A in 2003. The visit has a central importance to the Robert Kissel’s story. Once in America, Robert met with an electrical technician who had done some repairs in his home. The acquaintance turned into a full blown affair. Back in Hong Kong Robert was not able to get him out of his mind and they were in frequent contact with each other.

Perhaps the affair led Robert to be disenchanted with his wife Nancy, who later complained that Robert used to make love with her without her consent. The events led to the point where Nancy mixed a heavy dose of sleeping pills in Robert’s milkshake and then killed him by hitting his head with a statue.

Robert’s brother Andrew was in real estate and construction businesses. He had accumulated large sums of money by fraud and deception. Authorities were on his trail and he was put on house arrest. To hide his assets Andrew started to deposit large sums of money in the accounts of the people near him. One of the beneficiaries was his long time driver – Carlos Trujillo. Though the full pieces of the story are coming to light as the investigations are in progress, Carlos along with his cousin is known to have made the plan of killing Andrew. Andrew’s dead body was discovered on 3rd April, 2006 in his rented mansion.

I can bet, it would not be long before we would see a major Hollywood movie on Kissel Brother’s murders (and perhaps my name as the writer!).
