Lara Logan is CBS News’ chief foreign affairs correspondent. She is famous for putting her life in danger to file reports from the war zone. Her most recent accomplishment includes a report on present conditions and the challenges faced by the allied forces in Afghanistan with the title “The Road Ahead”. She has won an Emmy and was awarded GQ Woman of the Year award in 2007.

Lara Logan 38, managed her way into Afghanistan in 2001 after 9/11 happened. Once there she travelled with U.S and U.K forces and did interviews with the leaders of Northern Alliance. Born in Durban – South Africa, she went on to be a journalist. She started her career with working for South African T.V and radio. She is presently living in Washington.

Lara Logan’s first husband was a Basket Ball player – Jason Siemon. She is now married to a federal contractor from Texas contractor. She met her present husband while she was positioned in Iraq. The couple has just one child.

She was the only reporter from any American reporter in Baghdad as the country was attacked by U.S. She is also the one who broke the news of the abuse of special needs orphans in Iraq. The test of her sincerity with her profession came while reporting from Haifa – Iraq. She filed footage of the fighting which CBS refused to play on the channel for displaying very strong contents. However the video was posted at the website. She went public to pursue the masses to watch it and inform others.
