Mandisa Hundley has experienced the problem of excessive and “un-wavering” weight throughout her life. But her passion for singing has never been an impediment and she went for the audition of “American Idol”.

It was then when she was ridiculed by Simon who commented that she needed a “bigger stage” to perform. Eventually, she took the endeavor to lessen her weight and got 80-pound reduction in her mass. The subsequent program “American idol Rewind” comprised the old episode when she was fatter and how she managed to make unbelievable weight reduction.

She is of the view that such a weight loss has entirely changed her life and its definition and her previous outlook shown on the program has filled her with gratitude and nice feelings due to her fresh and thinner outlook. She is greatly thankful for the “American Idol Rewind”.

Mandisa commented on her reaction when she was ridiculed by Simon that it was her worst nightmare which eventually turned out to be her favorite memory. Because when she came for the second time for audition, the reaction of Simon was so much pleasing and humble when he hugged her.

She told that she took the services of a trainer for the weight loss. He helped her make such a diet plan which could be sustainable and could last for the rest of her life. She revealed how she managed to lose weight by changing diet. Mandisa told that she avoided sugar and processed foods, used chicken and fish on priority but beef occasionally excluding pork. She made the target of taking fiber neither less than nor more than 25 grams. But she consumed a lot of fruits, vegetables.
