The cover of Playboy magazine has been a much coveted. It has shown celebrities like Marilyn Munroe in quite revealing detail. The same place would now be adorned by Marge Simpson of The Simpsons. The Simpsons family consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The yellow skinned nude Marge is sitting on a chair, Playboy logo tactfully covering her private parts.

As Scott Flanders has taken the seat of Playboy CEO, he has come up with the clever idea of putting first ever animated character on the front page of the magazine. The issue would be augmented with a parallel issue of the magazine with pictures of the model Alina Puscau on the cover. The move creates a win win situation for both Playboy Magazines and the show which has lost some of its phenomenal popularity in recent days, will be back on track once again. More significantly the move would mark the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The issue would also contain an interview with Marge. Three page photo shoot would not show Marge fully nude. She would be shown as stripped off her green dress but as on the cover the photos would not be X rated.

Most of the readers of the Playboy magazine fall in the age bracket of 35, Flander’s move is hoped to attract younger population to the magazine.

It is yet to be seen how The Simpson’s fans take the move as Marge is all about morality and the mother of three.
