Monica Keena was born in New Jersey, America. Her mother was a nurse and father was a financial sales manager. She spent most of her life in Brooklyn, New York and attended Saint Ann’s School. At the age of thirteen Monica auditioned to get admission into LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts. She joined LaGuardia and chose the drama department as her inclination, because she was more interested in live performances, although she was suitable for both the dramatic and the singing arts departments. She did not wanted to lose any chance of learning hence learned singing too.

While studying in LaGuardia she played an important role in a short film titled “Burning Love” and that was the start of her professional career.

The well-known work of Monica includes Strindberg’s The Father, Snow White: A Tale of Terror, Abby Morgan, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Homicide: Life on the Street. His ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy was a hit, in which she played the role of Bonnie; she also had played some guest roles in different series. In the movie, “Night of the Demons”, Monica Keena portrayed Maddie, this is a horror movie and she played her role very well.

Although she has a busy schedule, she enjoys her life very much; she is 29 –years-old.
