My stepson my lover was an all time great TV movie which was released on June 25, 1997. The main theme of the story is that a nurse gets involve in the love of her stepson who was the son of her new ruthless husband. I think it happened to almost every woman when she gets marry to a ruthless dishonest husband; she falls in love with the muscular son of her husband and has sexual relationship with her stepson and then finally she becomes cause of death of her husband.

This is the only theme which can often be seen in these kinds of lifetime movies. In this movie after having two sex scenes, mother and stepson the pair acquitted of unlawful activity relating to their father / husband. But they did not end their relationship and later on it revealed to her that this stepson has killed his father to get marry with her and live with her forever.

When she came to know all this, he gets annoyed with his stepmom who accidentally falls from the cliff and this happening left him paralyzed. Rachel Ward was a star of this film that was a model primarily in the early 80s. She was an English woman and her accent was very confusing in the film.

She was totally different in moments, sometimes she sounds like British, then Australian, then Southern and then American. Some of times she sound like deaf and can be seen struggling in most scenes of the film for delivering the words.
