We grew up watching Nicolas Cage films. I remember watching Face Off and then discussing passionately each scene with class mates. He was stunning in his roles in “Leaving Las Vegas” and “National Treasure”. As I read the shocking news of Oscar winning actor’s financial worries, I brushed it aside as another hoax like “Madonna Dead”. However the news of Nicolas Cage being broke is everywhere. He has also issued a statement in which he has heavily blamed his manager Samuel L. Levin as the reason behind his financial worries. Nicolas Cage is of the view that he trusted the manager with his financial matters, so that he and his family could have a sound future but he left him deep in taxes. Reports are that he has to pay some $20 Million to authorities. The exact amount he intend to sue his manager with for his investment decisions.

Reporters are already comparing accomplished actor with Mike Tyson etc, who earned much money during the peak of their career, but as they retired they had nothing in pocket. However that does not seem to be the case with Nicolas Cage. He has properties in Germany, U.K and elsewhere in the world. Reports are that he has put his castle in Germany on sale and is also selling other properties to pay the debts.

Nicolas cage’s six films are in the pipeline at the moment. Seemingly the earnings from those movies alone would be enough to stabilize his financial situation.
