Nikki McKibbin is an ex-American Idol competitor from season 1 who recurred from an anxious few past years to appear on the show this week.

Numerous people have mentioned that Nikki McKibbin appears to be fat on the red carpet at the finale of American Idol. On the American Idol season 1 Kelly Clarkson won the competition and Justin Guarini was the runner-up and Nikki Mckibbin was palced thired on the show. Last Wednesday when Nikki appeared on the show American Idol season 8 finals many of the viewers said that Nikki is gone big but what most of the viewers don’t know is that she has gone through a tough time in past few year. But my idea of viewing the cracked out people is that when you are splintered out you look emaciated but in Nikki Mckibbin’s case it is opposite. She does look fat in the finals of American Idol but it appears she has lashed out the assumed coke habit which ended her up in rehabilitation center.

As for Nikki Mckibbin’s early life there is not much information available, but what we do know is that is she a native of Texas. She came in to sight while attempting to win the American idol season 1 but end up in the third place. After that Nikki Mckibbin tried to launch her career as a songwriter and a singer but failed. In the beginning of her career 19 Entertainment, the associated media group of American Idol tried to record a country album for Nikki but she refused and joined a rock band, but it didn’t worked for her either so she left the rock band also.

Nikki Mckibbin then tried to launch her own album named as “Unleashed” with an independent label. It is hot hard to imagine that after the experience of American Idol she embarked on alcohol and drug abuse then she appeared on the reality show celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Nikki Mckibbin tried to suicide in the year 2008 according to reports. In a rather victorious return to music Nikki Mckibbin released her first single named as “inconsolable” it was no sooner that that before she was realeased from the rehab treatment center.
