Nutty Putty Cave

Nutty putty cave is a natural cave that is situated at the west side of Utah Lake. There are many cells inside the cave which are interconnected by pathways and passages. The cave is a thermal cave and enjoys great popularity from the locals. It is excellent for starters. People come here to enjoy the adventure. The place was opened for visitors on May, 2009. Any visitor who wants to have a little thrill and adventure has to go through the reservation process.

If you want to visit today, you should have got registered five months ago. Limited number of people is granted access. Now how you can have fun in the cave? You will need a headlamp with powerful batteries. In order to have a thorough visit of the cave, you have to climb and crawl. The visitors are advised to have an extra light arrangement. You can stay and explore the place for four hours at a stretch. The temperature inside is moderate so you will not need warm clothes and only a jeans and a T-shirt will work. If you cover your knees with knee pads, it will make you comfortable. Don’t use expensive cameras and should carry only ordinary ones. The whole visit will make you dirty and thirsty.

The young visitors are advised to use common sense when they roam around in the cave. In 1999, two youngsters got trapped in the cave for ten hours. So it is highly advised for excited youngsters not to lose their calm if they are stuck anywhere in the cave.
