“Paa” is a movie which touches the sensitive cords of human emotions. The producer of the movie is R.Balacrishnan who is not new in the battle field of direction and has already directed a romantic comedy “Cheeni Kum” two years back. His recent film “Paa” is another challenge for him and, no doubt, may add another feather in his cap.

Balacrishnan has experimented in the film with a bizarre cast which has created enormous curiosity among the viewers. The movie is a blend of two different species of family and drama. The cast of the movie has spoken volumes about the expected success of the movie. The cast includes Amitabh, Abhishek, Vidya Balan, Paresh Rawal and Arundhati Naag. The music is composed by Illaiyaraja. AB Corporation, which is the film company of Amitabh family, has great expectations from their new production.

The cast has developed interest among the viewers due to powerful main cast. The movie revolves around the

basic theme of relationship between father and son. The type of relationship that has been portrayed in the film has never been in any other movie. The unique relationship between the father and son stimulates human emotions in a sensational manner.

The plot of the story revolves around a 13 years old boy, Auro (Amitabh) who has the genetic disorder progeria which accelerates the aging process of the child (The disorder makes a child an old man in a very young age). Despite the disorder, he is a playful child and an apple of his parents’ eye. Ironically, Abhishek is playing the role of his father. The movie is all set for release on 4th of December 2009.
