The Son of chorographer Patsy Swayze Died today.
Patrick Swayze an Actor by profession died at the age of 57 due to pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed of the deadly cancer in March 2008.
Even after the diagnosis of cancer Patrick Swayze completed his contract with A&E drama “The Beast”. He never gave up and continued his career even though he struggle a lot handle the pancreatic cancer.
The Patrick Swayze family’s statement released
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,”
A statement released by his publicist, Annett Wolf. Other details are yet to be published.
Swayze was a popular actor among his fans and movies like 1990 movie ‘Ghost’ with Demi Moore and his 1987 movie ‘Dirty Dancing’ with Jennifer Grey were the master blasters of his career and well recognized and appreciated by the fans. . He also played Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar’ a drag queen in the 1995 Steven Spielberg film ‘To Wong Foo. Over many years he starred a number of other films. His films were normally untidy by critics, but were well-liked by his fans.
Swayze was born in Houston, Texas on August 18, 1952. He took his initial interest in sports like football and ballet; eventually the sports become the reason for him to start his professional career with showbiz industry. He was unable to pay particular attention to a dancing career due an old football injury. So he decided to go for acting. His father was Jesse Swayze, his father was an alcoholic died in 1982. His mother, Patsy Swayze, worked on dance sequences in John Travolta’s ‘Urban Cowboy’ as a choreographer.
His wife, Lisa Niemi, was one of the students of his mother, at the time she took dance classes from Patsy Swayze. He was 19 and she was 15. In 1975 they got married.
Swayze left behind his wife, mother, two brothers (including actor Don Swayze) and Sister Bambi Swayze.
If you are not really a fan of Hollywood and actors in general, even then Patrick Swayze was very hard to unlike. The way he handle the diagnosis and the disease, it was significant. He was viciously honest and opened in his predictions. He was looking for a miracle and perused treatment hopefully, but at the end he accepted that he had to deal and had to face it. He uses to talk about living life rather then the death. His decision to keep on working also kept his positive attitude for life.
He worked as long as he could work.
