“Unlock the Ultimate Secret” the cover says. “Return to Halloweentown” a Disney Channel production is considered to be one of the best film on the subject. The film was nominated for Emmy in 2007 for exceptional art direction. The main characters of the film were played by Sara Paxton and Joey Zimmerman. The film would be on Disney Channel today night.

The film’s main characters are Marnie and her brother Dylan. Marnie succeeds in getting a scholarship because of her good actions. The catch is that the school happens to be Witch University. Marnie’s mother sends Dylan her brother along with to protect her sister. Marnie is excited about the school as she would be able to hone her witch skills. The school happens to be a bore and dull place as the witches and warlocks cannot use their skills.

Marnie finds a way out as she becomes friends with Ethan. The boredom continues until one day there appears a box in front of Marnie with words “S. Cromwell” written on it. Now the problem is that no one can use magic and Marnie has this box. It is either to be the fate or magic. The magic of the box is the power to control anybody. The resistance comes in the form of “Sinister Sisters”, who are hell bent on getting the box. They cast a spell on Dylan to transform him into a dog until Marnie is willing to give the box. The box happens to be a gift from Marnie’s grandma Agatha.

Marnie acts to give the box but it is revealed that the box is still intact. The Sinister Sisters are made devoid of their magical powers however Ethan sacrifices his powers on will. The film ends with Marnie and Ethan becoming friends and having a date together.
