Richard Alan Rhoden is a professional Golfer and a former major league pitcher, who was born on 16th of May, 1953. He won the “American Century Championship” on Sunday for his 8 title at this opening celebrity event. At Edgewood Tahoe Golf Club Rick Rhoden collected eighteen points and won the championship with a sum of seventy four points on Sunday.

Under the customized Stableford scoring system, players are awarded ten points for a double-eagle, 8 points for a hole-in-one, 6 points for an eagle, 3 points for a birdie,1 point for a par and 0 points for a bogey under the customized Stable ford scoring system. 2 points are subtracted pro each score of double-bogey or worse.

Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys quarterback) took 2nd place with score of twenty two points which gave him seventy one for the tournament. Billy Joe Tolliver (Former NFL quarterback) and Dan Quinn shared 3rd position with 70 points. The championship came down to Rick Rhoden and Dan Quinn.

Rick Rhoden held a slight edge on the final hole but both players hit awful tee shots into the trees. Both of them got back into the fairway and Rick Rhoden knocked his over the flag. Dan Quinn came up short in the water, basically handing Rick Rhoden his 8th win. Jeremy Roenick took 5th place by netted 22 points with a total of 69 points.
