Latest about the Serena Williams code violation act: She has refused to apologize for her attitude in the match and remarks to the lineswoman. According to the reports, Serena Williams have no remorse over her act and she has no regret about what she said to lineswoman during her match against Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters in U.S. Open championship.

The incident happened at U.S. Open Women semi finals in which Serena Williams was playing a match against Kim Clijsters. Serena was defending her title in this championship while Kim was playing her third match after her short retirement period. During the match Serena was called twice for foot-fault. The second call was rather harsh and made Serena lose her temper. She pointed her racquet towards the lineswoman and shouted at her. The lineswoman asked the umpire who then gave Serena a second code violation and hence point deduction due to penalty. The first code violation was given to her at the end of first set when she threw her racquet on the floor. The point penalty resulted in a success for Kim Clijsters. Kim Clijsters will now face Caroline Wozniacki in the final match of U.s. Open Women. Serena on the other hand not only received point penalty but also lost the semi finals, hence blew her chance to defend her title.
Apparently, Serena’s penalty does not seem to end at deduction of points only as many sports critics are demanding a heavy fine and suspension from professional match tours for a certain period. According to the reports, sports critics are demanding a fine and suspension as the player is not showing any remorse over her attitude.
