Shecky Greene worked more as a storyteller than a dispenser of witticisms and his durability shows the sincerity of his profession.

His gave first appearance as a comic actor in 1953, in Las Vegas his original name was “Fred Sheldon Greenfield” and he finally shrink his large name to Shecky Greene in 2004 and he moved towards the north side of Chicago, within six years, he was promoting in Las Vegas and there he made thousands of TV appearances. In any way he was comfortable with himself.

During World War II, he also served in Navy and then joinedan institute to come to be a gym teacher;he also worked in many other fields and travel towards different cities. He was a sort of rolling stone, not only in life but also in profession.

He performed in several films , comprising, History of the World, Part I and Splash and has guest starred on such television shows as Laverne &Shirley, American Style , Love and combat. He also played vital role in such movies like The Love Machine, Tony Rome.
