South Windsor— flames and Gunfire erupted on Temblebrook Drive on Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m. A Hartford legal representative kidnapped from downtown Hartford and held hostage by her ex-husband for many hours in South Windsor who has escaped according to Police. The woman was held hostage in the house on Temblebrook Drive, which was completely engulfed in flames.

Her ex-husband has confirmed as “Richard Shenkman” (Advertising Executive), police took him in custody after midnight Wednesday. Nancy Tyler and Richard Shenkman were probably to be present at a hearing on their divorce case on Tuesday morning. Richard Shenkman had threatened to hurt his ex-wife and present his several demands but could not able to be met them by hostage lawyer.

According to the police, suspect had a gun and fire at least twice during the twelve hour standoff. Luckily, No one was offended by the firing. Nancy Tyler marked the Richard Shankman in the garage at “Citiplace” in Hartford and called for a friend because he is prohibited by court order to come close to Nancy Tyler as described by the police. Fiend of Nancy called for Harford Police.

When police arrived at garage then they found that victim and her car were gone but the van of suspect was still parked on Haynes Street exactly outside Citiplace. Richard Shenkman was charged with arson for burning down a small summer house in “East Lyme” on the day he was invented to hand it over to Nancy Tyler.
