According to the reports, Rep. Steve King is supporting Rep. Joe Wilson’s demand to vote for the support of flying confederate flags in the South. Joe Wilson, the elected member from Carolina, is demanding to keep the confederate flags waving in the South Carolina capitol. But many of the assemblymen are showing their reserves on Joe Wilson’s demands. Joe Wilson has decided to ask the assemblymen to vote in favor of his stipulations. Apparently, Joe Wilson is not alone in this demand. According to the reports, Rep. Steve King is standing by him and has showed full support to Wilson.

Wilson has made a point that Southern Carolina has made a great contribution during the civil war and hence as a tribute the confederate flag should be kept flying in the state capitol.

Joe Wilson is also making news for his outburst during the assembly session. During a Congress session, while Obama was making a speech Joe stood up and shouted at him, ‘You Lie!’ Many analysts have called Joe’s outburst ‘based on racism’. Jim Carter said that Joe, like many, think that an African-American should not be a president. On the other side, Joe’s eldest son Alan Wilson has denied all such allegations and said, ‘There is not a racist bone in my dad’s body.’ Joe Wilson’s wife commented on the reaction as, ‘My husband doesn’t deserve the treatment he’s getting from congress.’

No one can really make judgment of Joe’s outburst but it is a well-known fact that as a congressman he has opposed the efforts to remove Confederate flag from South Carolina Statehouse and he will continue opposing it in future as well.

WASHINGTON — Joe Wilson from Grand Old party admonished by passing a resolution.

The Rep Joe Wilson was out of his clothes last week, when he at once interrupted the President during his speech regarding Health care to congress and said “You Lie”

It was a total violation of decorum of the house and it wasn’t liked by anyone having some decency in his or her personality. Eventually he apologized to the President and Mr. President Open heatedly accepted his apology.

The difference of opinion and strategy was uncovered between the parties when the partisan split over the issue. The resolution was passed by 240 to 179 votes.

Two congress men from Idaho have their different views, which they expressed by voting. Walt Minnick, a Democrat, voted for rebuking Wilson. And Rep Mike Simpson voted otherwise.

Simpson gave the viewpoint that RepWilson has already apologized to the President and President has accepted his apology. Now there is no need to float resolution for admonishing. He further elaborated that house should concentrate on more important issues then these issues which are absolutely unnecessary.

Walt Minnick was of the opinion that even keeping in view the Wilson’s Apology to Mr. President and acceptance by the President; He must have to apologize to his colleagues for the serious breech of decorum and house rules.

The Democrats were of the opinion that South Carolina Republican must take the responsibility as it was a serious violation of the decorum. On the other hand Republican exemplifies the vote as political move.

Out of the total house ten Democrats opposed the resolution and seven Republicans voted in favor of the resolution. Five Democrats voted “Present” to avoid the issue.

Wilson himself stood clear on his stand by expressing that His apology has already been accepted by the President, so there is no need of this kind of activity in the House.
