Tommy Lynn Sells is an American serial killer. Born in June 1964, Tommy Lynn Sells is also known as the Cross Country Killer. Currently waiting in a death row in Texas jail, Tommy Lynn Sells has murdered more than 22 men, women, and children as he travelled around different states of America.

Tommy Lynn Sells early life events explain how he turned into a criminal. He lived his early years of his life with his aunt Bonnie Woodall in Missouri. He started meeting a man from a neighboring city, Willis Clark. Willis Clark was later convicted with charges of child molesting. Later, Sells started travelling across different states to find work. He was homeless and used to hitch rides and often hopped trains to travel. He once stole a car. He claims he committed the first murder at the age of 16. His next prey was a lady from Missouri who invited him to her place to have intercourse. Three days later, the 29-year-old woman and her four-year-old son were found murdered in her home.

Tommy Lynn Sells was arrested when a 10-year-old girl Krystal Surles witnessed him murdering her friend. Krystal helped the police in making the sketch and then later identified the murderer through his photos. Police arrested Sells few weeks later where he confessed his other crimes too. Tommy Lynn Sells confessed that he has murdered a woman named Suzanne Korcz and a family in Illinois in 1987. He also confessed that he murdered a co-worker in 1998 and Krystal’s friend Katy Harris in 1999.
