This movie is an initiative, OR, we can also ecome skeptical whether this happened before or not?.

Shocking right?  and there are possibilities, yes, did u watched the Kuruthi Punal?;

This I still feel need more perfection for matured watchers, but the mixing of Police, politics and extremism is a unique flavour, never blended IN THIS WAY in a Tamiz movie before, Did u ever thought this before writing your review??

Poor adaptation of the original. Bad performance by the lead actors Kamal and Mohanlal. Not at all comaparable to Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. Especially the English dialogues were unnecessary – like state of the art C4 explosive from Czechoslovakia. Kamal tried to play an oversmart character. Lakshmi was woeful. Kindly retire from the industry madam. 4/10

again if u take this type of movie ………………………

The script is a let down. I never understood the point of having Lakshmi’s character in the movie. The dialogue exchanges between Lakshmi and Mohanlal fell flat. The Common Man (Kamal Hassan)’s motivation to carry out the plan never made sense. Listen to the story he is narrating in the end to Mohanlal and tell me if he is angry at the right people. The terrorist leader narrates a similar story, which if true justifies his past actions, I guess. A total waste of time. Looking forward to ‘Vettaikaran’.

If it is difficult to understand the movie, Please KINDLY see that a few times before you comment on it….

There is a saying that goes:  If you dont know what is that you better learn it before you comment on it.!

People like Selvam have Myopic Dementia…UPO is not a movie for the Sic….Lets forgive them

The movie is above average and camera work is awesome. editing also is good. above all acting by kamal and mohanlal oh dear they are acting? or its a real thing? stress and frustration coming on lal’s face is brilliant and sentimental emotions from kamals face during the last scenes is simply the best. how can one act like this and who is the substitute for these two?

Firstly, People like Suresh, Mahesh selvam etc in the comments given have first no sense.. I beleive these people would only prefer movies like masala  like action, love romonce assumtions etc….   These guyz should be in the shoes of hard working dedicated guy like kamal Hassan then they will realize…  

Movie was extraordinary and realistic which happens in the society.  It’s not new to say about Kamal and his conversation in the entire movie is fabulous….. He will take the tamil industry to hollywood….When u see Kamal’s movie there is a difference and everyone knows  Mohanlal given is hardorking and made the move to level 1.  Both awesome acting.   

UPO an xlnt movie by kamal. lal is good as usual. only  kamal has got the guts  to do such a role sitting in a chair making the entire world buzz around him,so the film may be called as unnai chutrum  ulagam. hats off, kamal.

SORRY SORRY, forgot about Mohan Lal’s performance, his a mojor role in making this a sucess, another STAR in his role as Police; !!!, yes, he had done similar roles before, but again, its not the same role, expression of stresss and work tension is very good, but need to better up in speaking English terms, who knows, some foreigners watching must understand what is going on, cant speak english like another Hong Kong or China Movie.

The movie is another premier, not a traditional you kill you I kill you movie, its ONLY a few can understand what is going on in the subject.

Another Kuruthi Punal I can say, but in a less budget.

No doubt abt good direction and making the young actors a exposure. He is not just making films, its into making the peoples living (poor cine artists), and giving new gen’s a chance. Daring to make movies like this, its a Anti-terroist subject, but i na Tamil movie, it is release very late I can say.

The sets, the theme chosen, the characters (except a few lousy performers), the movie is excellent, pls. watch and buy a DVD later once it is released officially. Worth storing such movies in DVD.
