Markus was arrested in 2004 for some heinous crimes he committed. He killed his nine family members and all were females. Not only this, he raped and sexually abused his own daughters. Due to his sexual exploitation, his own daughters got pregnant. He was sentenced to death with an additional 102 years imprisonment. Now his family broke the ice and revealed the story of the beast who arbitrarily abused his own family members. They narrated the story when he was in jail.

One woman told that she is the mother of two children and her father is their father as well. She told that she never knew it was immoral and illegal. Dr Phil assisted them to pull them out of trauma and enhance their awareness on the issues related to sexual abuse. He consoled them that it was none of their fault. He told that these types of issues are increasing day by day and a lot of work is required to address them. He will discuss the issues with the male members of the family as well.

Dr. Phil put other similar stories in juxtaposition e.g. of Jaycee Dugard and Elizabeth Smart . The dreadful incident is narrated in the book “By their Father’s Hand” which has a horrible abstract. The abstract portrays the picture and comprises that the neighbors were quite ignorant about the brutality of the offender and did not know what has been happening behind the doors of his home in California. But they certainly came to know when they heard gun fires. The police initially thought that it was a usual incident of family dispute but they were terrified when they saw the massacre after entering the home.
